A great read in snowbound conditions, I was glad to be marooned at home and read it all in one go!

Season of the Witch by Natasha Mostert

Season of the Witch

Season of the Witch tells the haunting story of a man who gets drawn into the mysterious world of two beautiful witch sisters who are practitioners of the lost, ancient Art of Memory.   Part murder mystery, part love story, this novel is wholly original in both theme and scope and takes on big themes.

Lots of late nights until the book was done...I couldn't put it down. Her imagery is exquisite. It's one of those books that sent me off in search of more...memory palaces intrigue me. I would love to see this book as a movie.
