Catch a Fish from the Sea (Using the Internet) by Nasreen Akhtar

Catch a Fish from the Sea (Using the Internet)

Insightful and gripping, this is the true story of the realities of searching for a lifetime partner using the internet. It is the powerful memoir of a thirty-something British Muslim woman of Pakistani origin who embarks upon a remarkable journey of the self, society, soul and love.

This book has given a true account of a Muslim woman's experience of searching for a spouse. I can really relate to Nasreen as a person. The book has made me re live all the horrifc experiences that I have had, and still having, searching for my future spouse via the internet. As stated by Zehn above, men should also read this book so they are aware of what they are putting us women through whilst using matrimonial sites. Some men need to read and learn from this book! Well done Nasreen for writing this book, no book has ever made me cry before! x
